Wow, June, 2020 went by in a hurry, didn’t it? June is probably my favorite month of the year because of the weather. It is finally warm out, but it hasn’t gotten too warm. The day are beautifully long and sunny. And we have several months of glorious summertime to look forward to.
For this personal project, called Project 52, I post one image a week to Instagram. Every month is a different theme. You can click on any of the links below to see any of the different and fun themes.
- January was “low light”
- February was “details”
- March was “black and white“
- April was all about “documentary“, and
- May was about “perspective“.
The theme for June, 2020, was “full sun.“
Photographers generally dislike shooting in full sun, and try to avoid it. It can be very tricky, if not sometimes impossible. But we had the theme of full sun last year for the month of June. So while shooting in full sun can be hard, like all these challenges, I am glad I did it. I looked forward to doing it this month, and love how all my images came out!
Of course, I always try and pick a favorite. It’s too hard to do because I really do love them all. Doing this personal project, makes my take my camera out and photograph my own family, for a change. Nothing is more important than that, and I always love every minute I am doing it.
