A few weeks ago I met up with this beautiful family of five for some spring backyard photos. I love backyard photo sessions! Backyard photo sessions are easy because the family doesn’t have to drive anywhere. I drive to you so you have more time to get the kids ready. There is also a level of sentiment as well as comfort in your own backyard.
What started out as a foggy morning cleared to a lovely spring day. Their backyard had plenty of beautiful shade, and we were sure to grab a family photo on their front porch, as part of their The Front Steps Project contribution.
Of course, I was absolutely smitten with these adorable little girls. They all wore pretty dresses in shades of light blue and white, with matching bows. They were really just as sweet as can be, and I loved how they all doted on their 7-month-old baby sister. I was sure to pull mom and dad aside for a photo of just the two of them. I like to do this in all my family photo sessions, because it’s usually been a long time since they’ve gotten one without the kids!
