Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book?

For summer and fall dates, I recommend booking a few months ahead when possible. Weekend spots tend to fill quickly, especially in September and October.

Where do family sessions take place?

Family sessions are held at one of my favorite outdoor locations along the Connecticut shoreline. I provide family photography in Westbrook, Old Saybrook, Essex, Lyme, Guilford, Madison, Clinton and surrounding areas. I’ll help you choose a spot that works well for your family and the time of year. 

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

That’s completely normal. I photograph families in a natural, easygoing way and allow space for kids to be themselves.

What if it’s going to rain on the day of our session?

We’ll reschedule. I can usually find a new date within one to two weeks of the original session.

When will we receive our photos?

Your fully edited gallery will be delivered within 3–4 weeks of your session.

What should we wear?

Once your session is booked, I’ll send over simple styling guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel like you.
