Most seniors feel awkward in front of the camera and that’s completely normal. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. I guide you through the entire session so you feel relaxed, confident, and look your absolute best.

My sessions take place along the CT shoreline, using soft coastal light to create natural, vibrant, true-to-color images. Seniors travel from across Connecticut to be photographed in locations including Westbrook, Old Saybrook, Essex, Lyme, Guilford, Madison, Clinton and surrounding areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book my senior session?

Most seniors book 6 to 12 months before their preferred season, especially for August and September dates. Booking early gives you the best choice of dates.

What if the month I want is sold out?

If your first-choice month is full, October and even early November can be absolutely beautiful in Connecticut, even at the beach! The light is softer, the crowds are gone, and fall tones are gorgeous. I’ll help you choose the best backup timing based on the look you want.

What should I wear, and how many outfits can I bring?

You’ll receive my Senior Style Guide with outfit ideas, color palettes, and tips. Most seniors bring 2–4 outfits depending on package chosen and session length. I help plan this so everything flows naturally.

What if I’m nervous or don’t feel photogenic?

That’s completely normal. I’ll guide you through posing and movement in a relaxed way so you never feel stiff or awkward.

What time of day are senior sessions scheduled?

Sessions are typically scheduled 60–90 minutes before sunset for the most flattering light.

Where will my session take place?

We’ll choose the perfect location together based on the look you’re drawn to. Beaches, fields, gardens, parks, or urban spots all photograph beautifully, and I’ll guide you to the best fit.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll reschedule for the next best date with great light.

When will I receive my photos?

You’ll receive your online gallery within 3 to 4 weeks. If you need a couple images sooner for yearbook or announcements, just let me know.

How do I book?

Booking is simple. You’ll choose your package, sign the contract, and pay the session fee officially reserve your date. Once that’s done, I’ll send over everything you need to start planning. Balance is due before your session.
