After what seemed like a long month and a half of staying home, it was so nice to do this lovely spring photo session at a local apple orchard. The trees were all in bloom and the grass was a soft, spring green, making the perfect backdrop for this wonderful family of four.
This is my second time photographing this special family, and I can’t believe how much these kiddos have grown since last time I saw them! Their handsome little 1-year-old boy was walking and exploring all over the place. And just like last time, I was completely smitten with the most adorable 3 year old in the world. We picked buttercups, dandelions, and even a few petals from the apple blossoms.
Spring is a great time for a family photo session.
People think fall is the best time to get family photos, but I’ll let you in on a little secret. Spring is also a great time to get family photos. The grass is green and lush, and flowers are starting to bloom everywhere. The weather is more comfortable because temperatures haven’t gotten too warm yet. And because most families like to get their family photos in the fall, there are a lot more dates and times available to suit your busy schedule.
I loved my time with this family and looking back at these photos makes me so excited for warm and sunny weather. Thank you for stopping by!
