Welcome to my booked senior client page. Over the next few weeks/months I will be prepping for your session. For me that means keeping my gear tuned up, continuing to shoot daily to hone my skills, and answering any questions you might have!
You may have popped over to my senior portfolio already to check out some past clients and gather ideas. Below I am highlighting a few blog posts to check out in preparation for your senior session.
Think about what you want me to capture.
Do you have any hobbies or interests you want to include in your session?
Any must have images?
What's most important to you for this session?
Don't know what you want? That's ok too!
Begin planning your 2-4 outfits.
Include layers and accessories.
Choose colors you know you look good in.
Neutral colors photograph better than large patterns or very bright colors.
Don't forget shoes!
Start to think about your location.
Do you have a special session place in mind?
Are you a beach person, or are you picturing fields and flowers? Do you like an urban vibe? How is your backyard?
*Keep in mind that all my sessions generally start about an hour before sunset!
Yay! The day has arrived! Seniors (and their parents!) can sometimes feel stressed trying to coordinate outfits, accessories, make-up and hair. The biggest tip I can give is: try not to feel stressed. Easier said than done, I know!
While it may feel chaotic, take a deep breath and remember that this is an exciting time! Just show up ready to have fun and feel special. Bring your ideas, your thoughts, and your personality, and don't worry about a thing. It's going to go great!
My sessions are very relaxed and free-spirited...and all about YOU. Together, we will walk around our location to find the spots with the good light. Trust in me that I will pose you in a way that is natural and organic. I prefer posing that makes you look relaxed...and like YOU!
Typically the session will run about 90 minutes depending on how many outfit changes and locations. We will come up with a plan for which outfits to use for which locations.
