Clara’s session was everything I love about fall on the Connecticut shoreline. As a CT High School Senior photographer, I’m always chasing that warm golden light, and late October at Hammonasset delivered in the most beautiful way. The sun was glowing, the sky was soft, and the ocean looked like glass… but let me just say, the WIND showed up too. 😅

Even though it was a little chilly, Clara was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She came in with the best attitude, stayed relaxed through the gusty beach breeze, and looked effortlessly gorgeous the entire time. Some seniors get nervous in front of the camera, but Clara was fun, calm, confident, and totally trusted the process.

CT High School Senior Photographer Locations: Beach + Park Variety

We started at a nearby park first, and it was such a perfect way to ease into the session. The tall grasses and warm fall tones were glowing, and that late October light coming through the trees gave everything a soft, golden vibe. Then we headed to the shoreline, and the background was just dreamy. It was definitely windy and a little chilly, but honestly, the wind made it even better. Clara’s hair and skirt had that natural movement that feels so editorial, and she looked stunning in every single spot. This is exactly why I love doing two locations in one session. It gives your gallery so much variety and makes it feel full and completely unique to you.
