Meet Kevin, Class of 2026! Kevin had his senior boy portraits taken late last fall at a local park in Connecticut, and his session had such a great, easygoing vibe from the start. From the location to the light to his personal style, everything came together in a way that felt natural and true to him.

Senior Boy Portraits in Connecticut

Kevin started his session with a very cool all-black look that was absolutely fantastic. It gave the images a slightly moodier edge while still feeling confident and timeless. I loved how intentional his outfit choice was and how it reflected his personality so well. It’s always great when seniors lean into a style that feels authentic to them, and Kevin did exactly that.

One of my goals with senior boy portraits in Connecticut is to create images that feel relaxed and real, not stiff or overposed. Kevin was up for anything during his session, which made photographing him easy and fun. We moved through different areas of the park, letting the setting and the light guide us, and everything felt effortless.

A Perfect Late Fall Afternoon for Senior Photos

The afternoon light that day was hazy and warm, with soft sun filtering through just enough to give everything a gentle glow. Late fall sessions are some of my favorites because the light feels calm and flattering, and this session was a perfect example of that. The combination of the season, the setting, and Kevin’s style made for a strong and cohesive gallery.

I love creating senior portraits that don’t feel rushed and give seniors space to be themselves. Kevin’s session had exactly that feel, and it shows in the final images.
