Meet Donya, Class of 2026! Donya’s Hammonasset Beach senior portraits were such a special session from start to finish. I was already honored going into her session because I photographed her sister a couple of years ago, and it meant so much to photograph Donya too. She traveled to see me for her senior session, which I never take lightly, and I was truly grateful she trusted me to capture this season of her life.
Her session took place on a gorgeous afternoon along the shoreline, with soft light, warm tones, and that effortless beach glow that Hammonasset does so well. Everything felt relaxed and natural, and Donya brought the best energy the entire time.
Hammonasset Beach Senior Portraits That Feel Natural and Confident
From the very start, Donya was a dream to photograph. She has one of those personalities that instantly puts everyone at ease. Fun, confident, and so easy to connect with. The camera absolutely loved her, and honestly, she made my job easy.
Her outfits were perfect for the beach setting, especially the red top she wore early in the session. It was bold, flattering, and completely her. She moved so naturally, posed with ease, and brought such great energy to every part of her session.
As a talented dancer, Donya has a beautiful awareness of her body and movement, which really showed in her portraits. Everything felt fluid and effortless, and we kept shooting because every frame felt right.
