Early this past summer, I was the photographer for an exceptional high school senior – my nephew! I have been looking forward to this senior photo session for a long time.

Luke is not only handsome but also a talented musician and very smart. My sister drove down from Massachusetts, where they live, for me to do this senior photo session with him.

My nephew wanted his session done with a wooded, green background. I normally do a lot of beach sessions this time of year, so I was excited to head to my favorite local park in late spring. I was delighted to find fields of wildflowers that aren’t normally there during the fall.

For variety, I suggested we use another location besides the park. We headed downtown for some urban photos and love how they came out! The best part of my nephew’s senior photo session was seeing his personality shine. He is a talented musician and an avid David Bowie fan. He wore his very cool shirt, demonstrating this.

Veronica and Luke, thank you so much for driving down for your senior portraits. I loved watching Luke grow into a handsome and gifted young man. I can’t wait to see what the future holds, as I am know it will be amazing! Luke, I hope you have a great senior year.
