Recently, I was fortunate to be the newborn photographer for this wonderful new family of four in Guilford, CT. I have always loved seeing this family and have been super excited about this session. I photographed Big Brother’s newborn session just a couple of years ago, and I was looking forward to seeing this adorable little man again as a two-year-old!

Baby boy had just turned two weeks old and was as sweet as possible for his first photo session. One of my favorite aspects of lifestyle newborn sessions is the intimacy and ease of having the session in their home. It creates a beautiful and comfortable environment for this sweet and fleeting time. When the baby needed to be fed, Dad took Big Brother outside to play on his swings for a while.

It was so special to see how loving and nurturing mom and dad are with their new baby and big brother. Being this family’s newborn photographer in Guilford, CT, means I have the privilege of stepping inside and observing this intimate time in their lives.

It was not easy to narrow down which images to share because there were so many good ones. I hope you enjoy looking at my time with this special new family of four and their sweet dog Willa. <3
