I recently had the honor of being the Hamden CT newborn photographer for this wonderful new family of five! Baby Spencer was welcomed home by his big brother and big sister who were both very proud of their new baby brother. They loved showing him off to me!
Lifestyle newborn photography has truly become a favorite of mine as I have been doing more and more of them. I love meeting growing families in their home because it creates such a relaxed session environment. It was wonderful seeing these happy parents snuggling with their beautiful new baby boy, and capturing the in-between moments as they tended to the needs of their newborn as well as baby’s toddler siblings. One of my favorite parts about lifestyle newborn sessions is the intimacy and ease of having the session in their home. It creates such a wonderful and comfortable environment for this sweet and fleeting time.
Of course, baby Spencer was perfect for his photo session, sleeping most of the time. Brother and sister each showed me their rooms and so we all had a wonderful morning together. The best part was watching this seasoned mom and dad, and how utterly relaxed and chill they were. The seemed to understand that life doesn’t get much better than what they were lucky to have.
I loved documenting all the new family dynamics and I hope they will always treasure these memories of these early days as a family of five. When I sent this loving gallery to this family, mom summed it up as perfectly capturing her blissful chaos.
