Early this past spring, I had the privilege of doing a wonderful extended family photo session on the beach in Westbrook CT. We had a beautifully mild evening to celebrate family members getting together after being apart for two years due to covid.

I have photographed many extended family sessions. They are always full of love, but this family was really something special. There was so much love and connection with each other. Not only did we have a mild evening, we also had the most beautiful sunset for this family’s photo session on the beach.

Extended family photo sessions often happen because family is getting together for a reunion, or a milestone such as an anniversary or birthday. Of course, getting family photos is the perfect way to remember and celebrate the special time together.

There were so many wonderful images from this session, it was very hard to narrow down which ones to share!
