Meet beautiful Maggie, class of 2022! I recently had the honor of doing Maggie’s senior photos at Harkness Memorial Park, in Waterford, CT.

Harkness Memorial Park is a favorite, and popular place for senior (and family) photo sessions. There are so many gorgeous backdrops for photos here. There is an old 1800’s era mansion with stone steps and pillars surrounded by amazing gardens. There is also a boardwalk that leads to a sandy beach, but my favorite spot is the magnificent gardens. Because Maggie’s session was mid-October, the colors were such pretty purply-brown color, that emphasized Maggie’s natural beauty.

We had gorgeous late day light for Maggie’s senior photos at Harkness, but it was also very windy! This high school senior girl handled the wind like it was nothing. She was poised, graceful, as well as so sweet and kind. It was so fun to get to know her! I loved the colors and outfits she chose too.

To Maggie, if you are reading this, I hope you know how much I loved photographing you. You handled that wind much better than I did! You are a hardworking, amazingly sweet and beautiful girl. I felt so lucky I was your senior photographer. Thank you so much and I hope your senior year is everything you want it to be.
