Summer seems to be the time of year for extended family sessions! I recently had the honor to be the photographer for this fun family reunion photo shoot.
There were six grandchildren, all boys, and it was the first time in a long time that they were all together. These six young men were not only handsome, but respectful too. I was so impressed! I could see the special bond and relationship they all had with each other, as cousins, and with their grandparents.
What a fun bunch. Growing up spending summers at their grandparents, meant games of wiffle ball and crabbing in the marsh near their home. After I captured some group portraits, I photographed them playing a rousing game of wiffle ball. The images of everyone cheering on Grandma as she swings her bat are some of my favorite.
It was a beautiful and special evening together. We did the photo shoot in the marsh across the street from the grandparent’s home, making it even more special. Family reunion photo shoots, and extended family sessions have really become some of my favorite to do. It’s always a celebration of family and love, and I love seeing how happy everyone is to be together.
I hope you enjoy seeing a peek at my time with this great family. Thanks for stopping by the blog!
