I recently met up with this Old Saybrook, CT family for their very first newborn photography session! I have really grown to love being a lifestyle newborn photographer because it allows me to capture growing families in their most comfortable environment. Everything that baby needs is right there, and it creates a relaxed session for everyone.
This sweet baby girl was already almost a month old. The ideal time to photograph newborns is around 5-15 days. But that is the beauty of a lifestyle newborn photography session. Since the focus is on the emotion and connection with the family, there is flexibility around this timeline.
Baby Mary was born right before Christmas, so mom and dad wanted to incorporate the holiday season into their session. We had their newborn photography session at her mom’s gorgeous home in Old Saybrook, CT. This cozy home was beautifully decorated for the holidays, I had so many choices for photo spots!
It was very special to see how loving and nurturing these new parents were with their new baby girl. There were so many sweet photos from this newborn photography session that it was hard to narrow down which ones to share!
