I met up with this beautiful family on a sunny June morning for a family photo session at the beach. Mom had reached out to me a couple of months earlier to participate in The Front Steps Project. But after chatting a bit, she realized she actually wanted some more special family photos. We had a perfect day, with perfect light and these adorable kiddos were full of smiles. Big sister and big brother were so sweet with their little baby sister who recently turned one.
This family chose a local Connecticut beach for their family photo session. Family photo sessions at the beach have become some of my favorite sessions to do. When done earlier or later in the day, the light can just be utterly gorgeous. As a result, it makes the water such pretty blue colors, which makes a perfect backdrop for family photos. This beach had a pretty shaded walkway that we stopped at for photos on our way to the sandy beach. These kiddos had so much fun exploring the beach, and I had fun chasing them around and capturing their excitement and laughter.
