The Connecticut shoreline has the most fabulous fall weather, and it’s a great time to get family photos. With the holidays just around the corner, a fall family photo session will certainly give you updated photos to use for your holiday cards!
I met up with this sweet family on a gorgeous autumn afternoon in mid-October. We had our session at Bauer Park in Madison, CT. I love to take photos at this pretty Connecticut location. As far as an autumn-like setting, it doesn’t get much better than this place, and is perfect for a fall family photo session. There is a lovely pond, with a big covered wooden bridge. Similarly, there is a rustic barn. There is beautiful, changing foliage everywhere. Finally, in the late afternoon, the light there can be quite magical coming through all trees and plants.
This family has three teenage siblings, and one adorable 2-year-old! It was so fun to see the bond the older siblings had with their little brother. Above all, I just loved seeing this mom and dad interact and dote on their baby. We walked all around the park together, posing for some photos on the covered bridge, and stopping to enjoy the beautiful afternoon and watch Baby Elliot run around and play. He certainly was the star of the show. 🙂
This family was full of love and happiness, smiles and laughter. I had so much fun with them, and I have so many favorites from this session.
