Glorious September, 2019 has come to a close. Here are my images for my personal project for this year – Project 52.
For this project, I post one image a week to my Instagram account, with every month having a different theme. You may click on any of the following links to see the images for the corresponding month.
- January was “low light”.
- February was “storytelling“.
- March’s theme was “portraits”.
- April’s theme was “connections”.
- May was all about “layering”.
- June’s theme was “full sun”.
- July was “color theory”.
- And August was all about “movement”.
The theme for September, 2019 was “nature.”
Oh, how I loved this one! Of course, I love shooting landscapes, so this theme was very similar to landscapes, only better. There is something very therapeutic about taking your camera, and walking around observing nature all around you. Macro photography, otherwise known as close-up photography of nature, is something I hope to do more of someday.
It’s too hard for me to pick a favorite this month because I love every single one of them. I loved walking around the sunflower field in North Branford, the apple orchards in Guilford, and the beach in the early morning hours. I especially love my sunset photos taken at Cornfield Point in Old Saybrook. For the past few years I was lucky enough to live on a beach where I got to see the sunrise everyday. Now I live on a beach where I am lucky enough to view incredible, magical sunsets.
Here are my images for September, 2019. I’d love to know which one is your favorite! Hope you enjoy taking a look and thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂
