I have a couple of really GOOD friends that I am thankful for. Laura is one of them and Leanne is the other. I had lunch with the two of them last week and it lasted for three hours because we all sit there and just listen to each other go on and on about our lives.
It is so nice to have friends that genuinely listen to you. I am so thankful for them and hope they know it.
Laura told us that her beautiful dog Mac was just diagnosed with cancer. I am more of a cat person but I love Mac. I will never forget that when I had surgery and was recovering, Laura gave me the gift of her time. We would go for walks and she always brought Mac. Later, I went over her house and we went for walks with Mac there. He is such a great dog. So when she told me he was sick and didn’t have much time left I went over there for one last walk and brought my camera. He honestly posed better for me than some people. Thanks for the walks Mac. I will miss you. xo
