My interests are simple: coffee, workouts, and being outdoors surrounded by beautiful scenery. There’s nothing like getting up early to photograph the sun rising over the CT shoreline. I enjoy taking high school senior portraits, lifestyle newborn photography, and capturing family gatherings in beautiful settings. My goal as a family photographer in Connecticut is to provide easy and comfortable portrait sessions as well as timeless, lasting images.

I had heard about the huge sunflower field in North Branford (and seen photos), but this was something that truly needs to be seen to be believed. You just want to start taking photos as soon as you get out of your car. And you just can’t seem to capture the awesomeness of it all with mere photos.

I convinced my two daughters to meet me at this glorious sunflower field one evening last week about an hour before the sun set (the golden hour). The times that I get to photograph the two of them together seem to come farther and farther apart.

Caitlin met me there first. My beautiful Caitlin loves to model for me and makes all my photos look good. 🙂 Kelly met us there a little while later. My beautiful Kel-Bel, my special first born. My very first photo subject EVER!!! How I love this girl. 🙂

Now that I know about this place I wish I had gone there more often and photographed others there as well. It’s gorgeous there!!!

So now, which one should be my Christmas card? I love them all.
