Meet Blaise, Class of 2026! This handsome young man traveled to the Connecticut shoreline for his high school senior boy portraits, and I’m always truly honored when seniors make the trip to see me. It means they trust me to capture something meaningful and real, and that never goes unnoticed.
From the moment we started, Blaise was such a great kid to photograph. He’s funny, laid back, and easy to be around, which made the entire session feel relaxed and natural. We spent the afternoon at the beach, moving at an easy pace, talking, laughing, and letting the session unfold without pressure.
A Relaxed Senior Session by the Beach
The beach is such a great setting for senior boys because it keeps everything feeling comfortable and unforced. The open space, soft light, and calm atmosphere allow personalities to come through without stiff posing or over direction. Blaise settled right into it, and the session flowed so easily.
Style Details That Made the Session Feel Personal
One of my favorite parts of Blaise’s session was his final outfit. He wore shorts paired with a really cool shirt he picked up during his travels, and it was the perfect way to end the shoot. That look felt completely true to who he is and added a personal touch that made his portraits feel authentic and unique.

Senior boys don’t need stiff posing or forced expressions. The best high school senior boy portraits come from keeping things relaxed, moving naturally, and letting personality show through. That’s always my goal during every session.
