Welcoming a new baby into the world is always special, and this beautiful at home session along the shoreline was no exception. As a Connecticut newborn photographer, I love capturing the soft, quiet moments that unfold naturally in a family’s home. A few weeks earlier, I photographed their maternity session at Madison Beach, and returning to meet their baby girl felt like such a full circle moment.

A Cozy At Home Newborn Session

Photographing newborns at home allows everyone to relax and enjoy the comfort of their own space. Their home had gorgeous soft light that created the perfect backdrop for gentle, timeless images. Baby girl was peaceful and expressive, giving us everything from wide eyed curiosity to sleepy stretches. Her big sister was full of personality and so excited to help. She was playful, cuddly, and already an amazing big sister.

Connecticut Newborn Photographer Highlights

One of my favorite parts of this session was seeing how connected this family is. Mom looked beautiful in her floral dress and brought such a calm energy to the room. Dad was so tender and loving, wrapping his arms around all of his girls. The way they held each other created some of my favorite family images from the day.

Big sister brought so much joy to this session. Whether she was giggling on the chair, snuggling close on the bed or proudly holding her new baby sister, every moment felt real and full of love. These are the kinds of newborn photos families treasure for years.
