This summer I had the honor of photographing a truly beautiful senior who traveled all the way from Massachusetts for her beach session with me. We met at one of my favorite CT shoreline spots for a sunset shoot, and everything about it felt magical. From the soft golden light to the pink skies and her stunning outfit choices, this session was a perfect example of why I love photographing Connecticut beach senior photos so much.
A Special Tribute to Her Grandfather
What made this session extra meaningful was the sentimental item she chose to bring with her — her grandfather’s walking cane. He had recently passed away, and she was very close to him. Including this keepsake in her portraits was incredibly touching, and I was honored to capture something that held so much personal significance.
Light, Movement, and Natural Beauty
She was so easy to photograph — graceful, relaxed, and full of light. We started the session on the boardwalk and then moved to a more rustic location with tall grasses and glowing backlight. She flowed effortlessly through each spot, making my job as a photographer feel like a dream.
The Dress That Matched the Sky
For the final part of our session, she changed into the most gorgeous sunset-colored dress — soft pinks, peaches, and creams — and as luck would have it, the sky lit up to match her perfectly. It was one of those moments where everything aligned, and the results were pure magic. These types of Connecticut beach senior photos always take my breath away.
