About CT Shoreline Photographer, Linda Sobolewski

My interests are simple: coffee, workouts, and being outdoors surrounded by beautiful scenery. There’s nothing like getting up early to photograph the sun rising over the CT shoreline. I enjoy taking high school senior portraits, lifestyle newborn photography, and capturing family gatherings in beautiful settings. My goal as a family photographer in Connecticut is to provide easy and comfortable portrait sessions as well as timeless, lasting images.

Cornfield Point Photo Sessions | Old Saybrook, Connecticut

Family Photography

There’s just something special about Cornfield Point photo sessions. This little shoreline neighborhood in Old Saybrook has everything I love in a photo location—two beautiful beaches, quiet corners full of charm, and that dreamy golden light. I’ve had the honor of photographing quite a few sweet families who live just down the street from me several times now. Each session feels more meaningful than the last.

Cornfield Point isn’t just a neighborhood—it’s a feeling. Locals know how meaningful it is to live here. When I photograph families or seniors in this spot, that connection always shines through.

The area has two distinct beaches to work with. The rocky beach offers a bit more shade and texture. The main sandy beach is known for its gorgeous sunsets. The contrast between the two gives us so much variety in one session.

Cornfield Point photo sessions are especially fun because the neighborhood includes so many tucked-away areas I love to use. From quiet corners with direct light to driftwood logs and weathered stone walls—not to mention the beach itself—there’s always something special to work with. Since I currently live here, we can even golf cart around to different spots to keep things fun and easy. Some of the families who live here have done exactly that with me. We’ve hopped in the golf cart and explored all the best little nooks, making it feel like a true neighborhood adventure.

A lot of the families I photograph in Cornfield Point are locals, and they feel truly connected to this place. Whether it’s the beach where their kids grew up, the path to their favorite rock wall, or the view from their own backyard, it all adds an extra layer of meaning to their session
