The Fenced Pathway
There’s a lovely fenced walkway I love to start at, especially with young kids. It’s a great spot to ease into the session with some walking or snuggling shots before we make our way down to the beach. Depending on the time of day and weather, this is also where I sometimes use direct light for a bold, beautiful look
The Magic Field
Not far from the pathway and leading to the beach is a field of tall grasses and tiny wildflowers that absolutely glows at golden hour. This spot is especially lovely for more natural, candid shots with little ones running around, or sweet sibling moments. I call it my magic field because the light here is just incredible.
The Beach + Sunset
Of course, we always end the session at the beach! Hammonasset’s soft sand, gentle waves, and natural surroundings make it perfect for both posed and candid shots. We can play by the water’s edge or explore the logs and beach grasses. As the sun sets, we’ll capture those final golden moments to wrap up your session in the most magical way.
