I had some wonderful photo sessions this past year. However, this particular family photo session was extra special. It took place in Old Lyme, CT.

I’ve photographed this sweet family a few times now, so to change things up we went with a different location that was not only beautiful, but also close by for this family, making it a convenient choice. The weather on the day of their session was overcast with a chance of rain. Indeed, when I got to this location it was spitting rain. Well, as soon as this family got here, the sun came out, and we had the most magnificent and perfect rainbow! I’ve been lucky enough to have a couple of rainbows appear during sessions, but this rainbow was literally a perfect arch.

I so enjoyed my time with this beautiful family. After our spectacular rainbow we walked around exploring this unique location. I loved the outfits this family wore, and these two little boys were SO cute!
