This past fall I was the maternity photographer for this sweet couple in Madison, CT. This beautiful expectant mama reached out to me for a newborn session. She was also interested in capturing maternity images. Since I offer Petite Maternity Sessions at a reduced price when booked with a newborn session, it was a no-brainer to do both!

Maternity sessions typically take place anywhere from 32-36 weeks. Newborn sessions are usually done 5-15 days after baby is born. However because I am a lifestyle newborn photographer, there is flexibility with this timeline. You can read more about lifestyle newborn sessions by clicking HERE.

We lucked out with a beautiful afternoon with the prettiest light and the most spectacular fall colors. Mama-to-be was radiant in a deep crimson dress. At the end of her session she wanted some images showing off her beautiful baby bump! It was the sweetest thing ever to watch how adoring her husband was with her.

This baby is due at the end of this month, and I can’t wait to be back there for their newborn session!
