Recently I had the privilege to be the newborn photographer in Westbrook CT for this sweet new family of four. It’s hard to believe I was just there less than 2 years ago when big sister was a newborn herself!
Just like big sister, this sweet new baby was as content as could be, stopping only to feed and a quick diaper change. Of course, this the beauty of lifestyle newborn sessions done in the home. Sessions are designed to be slow paced, allowing time to tend to baby’s needs, and well as those of siblings.
Like many of my lifestyle newborn sessions, we started in the master bedroom, before moving to the newly decorated nursery. Some of my favorite images from this session are of this beautiful mama nursing her new baby in the rocking chair. How I wish I had photos of me and my babies in the rocking chair, where we spent so much time together. These are the kind of cherished memories that are treasured forever.
