Every year I do many outdoor family photo sessions. It’s my favorite and most popular type of session. There are quite a few reasons for this!
First of all, outdoor photo sessions offer the best kind of light. Take a look through my website and you’ll find many photos taken during that dreamy golden hour, where the light is especially pretty. Secondly, there are locations along the CT shoreline that offer gorgeous backdrops. Think of the beach during the summertime, and parks during the fall.
Small children tend to like being outside better, where they can connect with nature, and run around when they get bored or restless. 🙂 While some people like the idea of a shorter mini-session, full family outdoor sessions offer plenty of time for me to capture it all. Even if you think your child won’t behave, with a full session I can almost always capture images you will treasure. From the posed family shot, to candid and playful family images, individual portraits of each child, as well as images of each child with each parent – these are all the images I get in the full session.
