Earlier this month, I had the honor of being the photographer for a lovely morning of Motherhood Portraits Sessions, in charming downtown Essex, CT. It was such a joy seeing all these sweet mama’s with their babies. Of course, when I say babies, it’s all relative! The ages ranged from babies on up, and I was so happy one family included grandma, for some three generational photos.
We met up at the Essex town green, and utilized all the beauty this picturesque park had to offer. Besides the white gazebo, we explored around the stone benches, flowers, and blooming trees. Of course, the best part is all this overlooks the CT river.
My Motherhood Portrait Sessions were held in collaboration with the adorable You, Me & The Sea, Essex, a lifestyle and home boutique located right across the street from the Essex town green. I have photographed the owner, Joanna Reicher, and her family several times now. In fact, you can see some of those photos hanging in her store!
Joanna offers her own brand of gorgeous sea glass jewelry, oyster shell dishes and nautical apparel. She also carries very talented local makers items and several well known brands. She has a large children’s section too. This store is just absolute eye-candy, and you can find a gift for everyone here!
One lucky mom was the winner of a $100 gift certificate to You, Me & The Sea, Essex! It was a fabulous morning, with my favorite part being able to witness all the love and connection with these moms and their children. It was my honor being the photographer for these Motherhood Portraits in downtown Essex, CT, and I hope to be able to do these again next year.
