Every year I get inquiries for family photos at a Christmas Tree Farm to use for their holiday cards. I kept getting so many inquiries, that a couple of years ago I started offering Christmas Tree Farm mini-sessions. They’ve been a great success and I love doing them!

This year I had a family who wanted more than just the quick 20 minute mini-session to get family photos at a Christmas Tree Farm. Of course, they wanted photos for their holiday card, but they also wanted to capture more than posed family shots. With three small children they also wanted to capture more candid and playful images. They wanted images of each child alone, as well as images of each child with each parent. With the full family session, they got them all!

We spent about an hour walking around, having fun, and playing games at a local tree farm in Guilford, CT. These three adorable kiddos truly stole my heart. I photographed this family last year and the kids remembered what fun we had then. I felt like we had a special bond. 🙂

While some people like the idea of a shorter mini-session, full family sessions offer plenty of time for me to capture it all. Even if you think your child won’t behave, with a full session I can almost always capture images you will treasure.
