Meet Kyle. I recently met up with this Class of 2022, high school senior for his senior portrait session. When Kyle’s mom contacted me about doing a session for her high school senior boy, she told me that Kyle attended a local magnet school in the area. She wanted his senior portraits to reflect Kyle’s personality and interests.
After discussing various locations, they chose to have their session for their high school senior boy at UConn’s Avery Point in Groton, CT. I had never been there before and was excited to see this beautiful area. The Branford House is located at Avery Point, which is a gorgeous mansion with panoramic ocean views and pristine lawns. The Avery Point Lighthouse is also located at this gem of a location. I was thrilled to shoot here, because there were so many different little places to shoot.
One of Kyle’s passions and hobbies is fishing, so we ended Kyle’s session at one of his favorite fishing spots, where we also got to enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Kyle was just a natural in front of the camera, further proving to myself why I love shooting High School Senior girls and boys so much. He was not only handsome, he was also polite and respectful. Something tells me this senior boy will do very well in life! I hope you enjoy taking a peek at my time with Kyle.
