For the past six months I have been the staff photographer for Old Saybrook Neighbors Magazine. Every month I photograph the family that is being featured in their monthly magazine. As a result, I have met the most wonderful families in town! Meeting families, and viewing them from behind my lens, is truly the best part of my job. There is something extra special about the families I have had the pleasure of photographing for the Old Saybrook Neighbors Magazine.
For the month of March, I photographed the family that owns The Monkey Farm! Who doesn’t love the Monkey Farm, also known as “The Farm”. The Corning Family has been operating The Monkey Farm since 1968.
I met up with Laura Corning, and her lovely daughter Julie at her home for a couple of photos, before we all headed to the Farm. Laura’s brother David, and his daughter, Krysten were there waiting for us. I got some fun photos of the gang outside the restaurant, then we headed inside for some lunch. I got some photos of the gang sitting at the bar, then sneaked into the kitchen for some shots of the bustling kitchen area.
I had such a wonderful time with this fun bunch. It’s families like this that make my hometown of Old Saybrook so great! As always, thanks for stopping by the blog. <3
