2020 was truly an an unprecedented year, full of challenges, fear and a different way of doing things. However, despite so much uncertainty, family became more important than ever. In April and May of 2020, I got to see this first hand, as I photographed almost 50 families for The Front Steps Project. Together we raised over $2000 for The Shoreline Soup Kitchens and Pantries. Many of those families came back to see me in the summer and fall for family portraits.
As I finish up my third full year in business, I am truly humbled, and incredibly grateful, for all the business and amazing clients that came my way in 2020. I feel honored to have the chance to meet so many great people. I got to spend quality time with families, watch them grow, celebrate, love and connect. Moreover, I am able to document joyful connections through my lens. Above all, I’ve truly loved every single session. Photographing families, and capturing their memories, has become a huge source of joy in my life.
So, here’s a look back at some of the highlights from 2020. This was such a fun post for me to put together! It was like taking a walk down memory lane, and made me feel so happy, as well as an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
Thank you to all who continue to support my work. May you all have Happy Holidays, and I look forward to a wonderful 2021 ahead!
