Since I receive many inquiries about where to have beautiful fall family photos taken, I thought I’d write a blog post about a favorite location here along our beautiful CT shoreline. Bauer Park in Madison, CT is an idyllic setting for beautiful fall family photos. There is a pond with a covered wooden bridge. Similarly, there is an old farmhouse and a great rustic barn. There is changing foliage everywhere. Finally, in the late afternoon, the light there can be quite magical coming through the trees and plants. It’s no surprise that photographers love it here!

Over the past few years I have done many sessions at Bauer Park. This CT gem is a gorgeous location any time of year, but it especially shines in October and November. The late fall colors and hazy lighting often make for the beautiful fall family photos people are looking for
