I had the best time photographing this fun family of five on a warm summer afternoon back in August. We met at their beautiful home in Guilford, Connecticut, and had a blast playing all over their large, expansive yard. We found the perfect spot on their property – full of beautiful light and lots of nice Connecticut greenery – this time of year is my personal favorite for family photos. 

I photographed this sweet family almost a year ago, and since then they welcomed a new baby boy to the mix! This mom and dad made three kids look like a breeze. He was adorable with his blonde curls and shy, little personality. His big sisters were very loving, and obviously adored their little brother. These twin girls were so pretty in their matching pink tulle skirts; showing them off by spinning around in them. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see the photos! Little girls will always have a special place in my heart, since they often remind me of my own girls. <3

The weather was glorious this late summer afternoon, with pretty light, and I had a wonderful time with this family of five. We played some games, sang some songs, and climbed some rocks together, exchanging smiles and laughs the entire time.
