I met up with this wonderful and very special family for a photography session just a few short weeks ago. This family is very special to me, because I have known Rachel, the mom, for many years now. Rachel’s mom is a long-time friend, and colleague of mine. So, I have watched Rachel as she graduated college, then got married, then moved back to Connecticut, and finally, had these two beautiful babies. I have been especially smitten with her adorable, sweet, blonde-hair little girl since she was born! There is just something about little girls that I just adore. Probably has something to do with my own girls. 🙂

We had our session at Water’s Edge resort in Westbrook, CT. I love to take photos at this stunning Connecticut location. I have been to Water’s Edge in Westbrook many times before, and know how gorgeous the grounds are, and what a stunning backdrop it makes for a family photography session.

The weather ended up being perfect and the light took on a magical quality as we found a spot where it was literally shining down upon them. They were dressed so cute too, talk about picking great coordinating outfits! It was so wonderful to see the bond big sister already has with her baby brother. This family was full of love and happiness, smiles and laughter. I had so much fun with them, and I have so many favorites from this session. I left this family with my heart full. This family really gives meaning to the term “family goals”!
