Back on a beautiful summer evening in July, I had the pleasure of joining this gorgeous family for a session at Water’s Edge Resort, in Westbrook, CT. Every year, Cally and her family have been going to Westbrook and staying at Water’s Edge. They would always talk about getting professional family photos there to capture memories from their favorite place. It’s where they all feel closest to each other, and have many wonderful years together.
When Cally contacted me, she told me she would love to give her parents some keepsakes because they are all getting older. She said that her parents had given all of them the experiences and years of family vacations, therefore she wanted to give them something special in return. A family session on the beautiful grounds and beach at Water’s Edge was the perfect gift.
It was so wonderful to see the amazing bond between these two sisters, two brothers and their parents. One of the brothers recently got engaged, so his stunning fiancé joined us too. 🙂 Families really don’t come better looking than this. They were a dream to photograph and I left there feeling a little bit obsessed. 🙂
Family sessions are so wonderful, and they really capture such special moments in time. There is always so much playfulness and laughter and they are some of my favorite sessions to shoot. I hope you enjoy seeing a peek at my time with this very special family. <3
