The year is more than half over (I can’t believe it!), and I have completed June and July for my personal project, Project 52.
For my project, I post one image a week to my Instagram account. And every month is a different theme.
- January was “low light“.
- February was “storytelling“.
- March’s theme was “portraits”
- April’s theme was “connections“
- And the theme for the month of May was “layering”.
The theme for June, 2019 was “full sun”. When I first heard I would have to be shooting in full sun, I was not happy! Shooting into full sun can be tricky and something I have always tried to avoid. But this is exactly why I love doing challenges. They make you do things you wouldn’t do otherwise. I love how my images came out for “full sun”, especially the one of my daughter gardening. 🙂
And for July, the theme was “color theory”. Color theory means things like using complementary or analogous color themes. Since I absolutely LOVE color, this one wasn’t too hard for me. Especially in the summertime, color is everywhere. I can’t pick a favorite out of those though, I love them all. Well, maybe the one of the sunflowers and hydrangeas. I love flowers. 🙂
Here are my images for June and July. I’d love to know which one is your favorite! Hope you enjoy taking a look and thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂
