It was the perfect spring evening for a family session at beautiful Chapman Beach in Westbrook, CT. There was a gentle breeze coming off the water, and the early evening sunshine felt glorious. As the sun was setting it gave us an unbeatable magical evening glow. And most importantly, Stella, Shane, Madi and Lily were so much fun!
In honor of Mother’s Day I had some flowers ready for mom and her girls. I let the girls choose which color they wanted, and they both picked pink. How perfect. 🙂 The two adorable girls were full of giggle and jokes. It didn’t take long at all for their individual personalities to come shining through. I loved it when the girls used the stems of their flowers to draw their names in the sand. My favorite moment was when Lily started to give her mom sponatenous kisses. As a Mom, these are the moments you want to remember forever. Pictures of sweet memories can’t freeze time completely, but they freeze a moment so that we can better remember it later.
Stella was the winner of a Facebook Giveaway I hosted in honor of Mother’s Day. I chose one family to receive a Spring Beach Mini Session at my beach. I do believe I will make this an annual event. 🙂
This was the first time I offered Spring Family Mini-Sessions at my beach. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure how the light would be for photo sessions. It turns out it’s actually perfect, and I am excited to offer my beach as a location choice for future sessions!
