My interests are simple: coffee, workouts, and being outdoors surrounded by beautiful scenery. There’s nothing like getting up early to photograph the sun rising over the CT shoreline. I enjoy taking high school senior portraits, lifestyle newborn photography, and capturing family gatherings in beautiful settings. My goal as a family photographer in Connecticut is to provide easy and comfortable portrait sessions as well as timeless, lasting images.

Spring Is In The Air! | Westbrook, CT Lifestyle Photographer

Landscapes

Can’t you feel it? Spring is in the air and I love it. It’s still light so much later now. I know we have a ways to go, but there were even a couple of days I opened a window to let some fresh spring air in!

I’m not going to lie – winter is my least favorite season. I don’t ski or do winter sports and am generally not a fan of the cold. Give me my beach and the sunshine anyday. It seems like once the busyness and fun of the holidays are over, everything is, well, just dark.

Not this year 🙂

After the holidays I completely immersed myself in all things photography. I took a few more workshops from the always inspiring Click Photo School and also one at The Illuminate. I also spent a lot of time updating and improving my website. I built my website myself, last spring. Now that I’ve completed my first year of business I have a better idea of what I want it is I want to be doing as well as what I want to offer my clients.

One exciting thing I did was add a Print Shop right within my website! I put together a gallery of my favorite landscape images that I’ve taken in my beautiful hometown of Westbrook and the Connecticut shoreline. You can now purchase any of these images as framed prints and canvases.

Another change I made was with the Collections I am now offering. I’ve always offered a few prints with each session, but now I am including matted and framed prints, as well as canvases. In a digital world where photos are stored on computer hard drives and posted on Social Media never to be viewed again, when you book a session with Linda Sobolewski Photography you’ll finish your portrait experience with physical, heirloom-quality display pieces to enjoy your images for the years to come, and pass down through the generations of your family.
