As I type this post it is the last day of 2018 and oh, what a happy year it has been! I completed my first full year in business. I continued to learn and improve by taking photography workshop after workshop. A favorite one I took was called The World Around You at the fabulous Click Photo School. It focused on one of my favorite things to photograph – landscapes.
I completed my first personal project called “100 Days of Summer” which was exhilarating for me to do and share. I only have a few days left of my second personal project called 42 Days of Magic. This project has been more challenging as there have been specific prompts each day, but doing these kinds of things makes me such a better photographer. I am hoping to end this one with a self portrait, so go take a look over at my Instagram feed to see!
But looking back this past year, by far, my favorite thing to photograph were PEOPLE. I am thankful for all the amazing clients that chose me to capture their memories. I feel honored to have the chance to meet so many great people, watch families grow and continue to document joyful connections through my lens.
