I am always inspired by other photographers and often see them doing something called a personal project. A personal project gets them to shoot more regularly for themselves and that in turn makes them become better photographers. An added benefit is they are fun to do. 🙂
I have been searching for what my Personal Project could be and finally came upon one called “100 Days of Summer”.
I immediately thought that would be perfect for me! Summer is my favorite season and I live in such a beautiful area. I have often had a hard time conveying how beautiful it is through mere pictures. But when you shoot everyday, day after day, you really notice all the little things that make it all so beautiful.
Here are the first ten days of 100 Days of Summer 2018. <3
1/100 – We love our Gracie-girl
2/100 – Cloudy Sunset
3/100 – Caitlin Graduates
4/100 – The Blue Hour {this is my favorite so far, as it taken after the sun sets so you can see the “golden hour” turning into the “blue hour – so cool!}
5/100 – Foggy Spring Morning
6/100 – A beautiful subject to let me practice back-button focusing and skin tones 🙂
7/100 – Red sunrise (It is usually the half hour BEFORE the sun rises that is the most beautiful!)
8/100 – Downtown Essex, CT
9/100 – Best Friends
10/100 – Pink Sunset
