A few months back, I had the privilege of being the newborn photographer for an extra special new family of three! My daughter’s best friend from college had her first baby – a beautiful girl! My daughter’s very generous gift to her friend was this lifestyle newborn session.

Together, my daughter and I traveled up to New Hampshire to visit her friend, and meet her new baby girl. It was so special to see my daughter’s friend as a new mom. Their sweet baby girl was just a couple of weeks old, and both mom and dad certainly seemed beyond comfortable and confident. Baby was perfect for her very first photo session, sleeping practically the entire time.

Since their session was just a few weeks before Christmas, we were able to capture some images in front of their decorated fireplace, to reflect this time of year. They are some of my favorite from the session! I loved that the grandparents were there too. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see a very special image I captured of grandma and her daughter, changing baby’s outfit. Truly my favorite from the session!

Lifestyle newborn photography has truly become a favorite of mine to do. It allows me to capture growing families in their most comfortable environment.
